Is Suhoor Compulsory or Sunnah?
Suhoor is Sunnah, not compulsory.
If a person misses Suhoor, their fast remains valid. However, Suhoor was consistently encouraged by the Prophet ﷺ, who described it as a blessed meal, even if it consisted of very little.
This guidance shows that Suhoor is meant to support the fast, not determine it. It adds ease and blessing, not pressure.
Understanding this helps fasting remain accessible and calm.
Wise Compass often reflects on how clarity around obligations and Sunnah prevents unnecessary guilt.
That same thoughtful approach continues through Juniors’ Adventures and Young Explorers, where everyday habits are explored reflectively.
Sunnah brings balance to practice.
How do you usually approach Sunnah acts during Ramadan?
